Reaches your soul... Nov 01, 2005

The Rosary is a Place is the most beautiful rosary album we have. Father Groschel's touching, poignant meditations and prayerful pacing combined with Simonetta's moving music provide a wonderful peaceful experience. My family listens to this CD every night as we go to sleep, and each time the rosary is illumined in a new and beautiful way.

I am extremely particular when it comes to The Most Holy Rosary. And I must have a half-dozen Audio CD versions. None have provided what this astonishing 2 CD set from The Philomena Foundation as poignantly rendered by Simonetta's gorgeous music along with the beloved Fr. Benedict Groeschel's meditations. Even more, what a joy to find a traditional Catholic Classic of The Joyful, Sorrowful and Glorious Mysteries - especially at this time of year! It was most certainly worth the time, money and wait to purchase this.

I have many rosary cd's but this is my most favorite! The music and Father's soft voice are so peaceful and relaxing. As he reflects on the meaning of the mysteries it speaks personally to our challenges in today's society. The other plus to this cd is that they are not in a hurry to say the rosary, they actually pray the rosary. This CD is the best one yet!!! Beautiful!!!

This was given as a gift to a friend and former co-worker who is terminal with cancer. She looks forward to praying the Rosary daily, with the comforting and insightful voice of Fr. Groeschel, and the simple but beautiful vocal stylings of Simonetta. It is truly a relaxing, comforting place that one can "retreat" to on a daily basis. With the gentle leading of the Priest of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, a world is opened in which new revelations arrive during contemplation of the Gospel mysteries. I highly recommend this CD.

I listen to this every night, and there is a feeling that comes over me. I feel like I am doing something that pleases God, Mary, and all of saints. I absolutely love this CD.
