Mother Angelica's Little Book of Life Lessons and Everyday Spirituality by Raymond Arroyo is a book about a lady that single-handedly created EWTN, which is largest religious media organization in the world. I have watched reruns of her program Mother Angelica Live for many years. There are numerous quotes of spiritual wisdom and practical advice dispensed throughout the book. If you want a book that will help you find God in these hard times this is it. Mother Angelica has saved many souls in her time and I can only hope her books will continue to save souls for many many years to come. "Every prayer you say will be a jewel in the crown you will were in Heaven and every soul you save will be a diamond in the crown you will were in Heaven someday". Mother Angelica will be wearing a crown so big it will be seen from any vantage point in Heaven. By the way that quote was from my book...

I just received the cd version of this book and have to admit, as I listened, I was wondering if Raymond was the voiceover for Mother Angelica. I watched her for many years before her stroke and loved her wisdom and fiesty personality. You know she has experienced ups and downs in life and through them, has developed a personal relationship with Our Lord. If it is Raymond's voice, then I'm disappointed he didn't ask another sister to read the part but even so, as I continue to listen to the cd's, you begin listening to the words and forget the voice. As it is so with love for God and others---you begin to love the soul and forget everything else.
