I came across this wonderful Bible while homeschooling my children (ages 10 and 12). This is the perfect link between those picture Bibles for very young children and the more in-depth "Teen Bibles". Every book of the Bible is covered and made very easy to understand, even for adults! If you want an excellent overview of the Bible, written in simple language, this is the perfect choice.

My 10 year old daughter loves this Bible. I bought it because she was complaining about Sunday school and I wanted to find another way for her to learn more about our catholic faith. We are reading it together and what she likes the most is that it is easy to understand. She loves all the passages and the illustrations.

I have purchased several different versions of children's bibles, and this is our favorite. It is written in a language and font that is easy for kids to read, and it includes pictures on every page to draw their interest, and it has maps of biblical places.
One of the best features is that is includes the whole Bible, but in shortened form. So many children's bibles just pick out a few scripture passages to include, so children don't learn all the parts of scripture. This book doesn't leave out any books, so children get to experience the whole Bible. When sections are shortened, there are editing notes that help explain what happened to link the passages together. The notes do not try to interpret or change the meaning of scripture, but do sometimes explain words or concepts that might be foreign to a child. A great version!

I'm 12 years old and I just bought this and recieved it today. It is awesome. I love it! I ordered it on another website called communication center.It shiped in 5 days and has free shipping. This website has a much better cover. Amazon's cover looks cheap and cheesy. It was only $15, at com center and was a hardcover. It sums all of the Bible up into one kinda short book. It is about 350 pages and has maps, a timeline, glossary with words you might not understand, and has all the books of the Bible. It also has some explaining if you don't understand something and it tells what God or Jesus menat. It also has New and Old Testaments and has people in the back of the book. It tells you almost all of the people on the Bible and something famous they did. It gives you a clear understanding of the Bible and has GREAT illustrations.
